Protect our Gun Shows!

Gun Shows are under constant attack in the mainstream media, and also under constant regulatory scrutiny from left-leaning politicians who have no idea what a gun show is all about.   We ask that you please attend our shows with the following guidelines in mind.  Most are common-sense, but some are CRITICAL if we expect to enjoy the ability to attend gun-shows into the future!
  • First, yes- we're going to say it in plain clear English:   THERE IS NO GUN-SHOW LOOPHOLE!
  • Asking about the gun-show-loophole to a dealer (or anyone for that matter) will just make you look like a moron.
  • Always ask the dealer before you pick up a firearm.  Most will not mind, but some do not want their firearms handled.
  • We love kids who love guns, but If you are under 18, don't pick up a firearm unless given permission by both your parent/adult and the dealer.
  • Do not dry fire a gun, unless you have serious intentions of buying it, and please ask the dealer first.
  • Do not stand in the middle of the aisle like a bunch of teenage girls in a high school hallway clogging the walkway so that people have to squeeze themselves around you just to pass through.
  • Do not stand in front of a table that you don't intend to purchase from and hold conversation with others who are also not actively engaged with the vendor.  Please take these conversations to the break area so that others can get to the table to make potential purchases.
  • Don't point the gun at anything you aren't prepared to destroy.
  • Yes. We get it. The stun gun sparks and goes "bzzt". Is it really necessary to keep doing that over and over again?
  • Pepper spray is not something you can demo at the gun show. DO NOT spray it anywhere, doing so in a closed environment like a gun show will cause most of the people there to experience symptoms since it's harder for air to escape.
  • Dealers are required by federal law to watch for signs of straw purchases, and are expected by federal regulation to refuse sales if they have any reason to suspect a straw purchase is occuring.  Please do not take it out on the dealer.  I f you make a scene, you will be asked to leave, and to not come back.
